In-person team days – Lee House office : FAQs

Q: Can I still work in Lee House if it’s not my team’s allocated day? 

A: Yes, colleagues are still encouraged to work in the office at least one day a week, and where business need requires you to be in the office. But please be mindful that desk availability will be more limited on the days allocated to specific teams.  

Q: How do I know which dates, week one, two, three and four correspond to?  

A: Each week corresponds to the following dates up to July 2025: 

Q: Does this apply to all GC sites?   

A: This only applies to teams who are based in our Lee House office. However, all GC colleagues need to be aware in case they are planning on holding team sessions or meetings in Manchester.   
   

Q: Will we have access to meeting rooms on those days?  

A: Meeting rooms will not be allocated and can be booked via the system as normal.  

Q: Do teams need to book a desk on their allocated day?  

A: Desk spaces are blocked out for teams on their allocated day, as shown on the Team Days Calendar.  These desks will not be available to reserve by anyone else.  

Q: Do I have to come in on my team’s allocated day?  

A: Yes, we’re asking colleagues to attend in person on their allocated day. However, we recognise that not everyone will be able to attend every month due to annual leave. Please speak to your line manager if you have any queries or concerns.  

Q: Does this apply to Skills and Employment colleagues?   

A: No, the schedule has been developed excluding Skills and Employment colleagues who already operate regular in person working.
