You can use this check-up designed by Mental Health England to check in each week on your own mental health.

Mental health and wellbeing resources pack

To support both individuals and businesses during the coronavirus outbreak, we have developed a Mental Health and Wellbeing Resources Pack providing information on how the pandemic may affect mental health along with advice and guidance on how to best manage this during these challenging times. This includes a library of resources and local, national and international support services.

Worried about your finances?

If you are worried about your finance, you can our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), delivered by Health Assured, who are available 24/7 to give free, confidential advice for you and your immediate family. You can contact the helpline on 0800 030 5182 or visit the online support tools via the health portal (username: Growth, password: Company).

Money Advice and Citizens Advice have also shared some useful information on how to manage your finances during the pandemic on their websites.

Action for Happiness

Action for Happiness have created monthly calendars with an action each day to look after ourselves and each other as we face this global pandemic together. They have also launched an app which is ike having a little personal action coach in your pocket who:

  • Gives you friendly 'nudges' with an action idea each day
  • Sends you inspiring messages to give you a boost
  • Helps you connect and share ideas with like-minded people Mind Mind have shared stories on how people have been coping during the pandemic for ideas on coping strategies.

Looking after your mental health while staying at home

Staying at home may be difficult and leave you feeling lonely and isolated, but you are helping to protect yourself and others by doing it.

The NHS have shared some useful tips and advice on things you can do to help you keep on top of your mental wellbeing and cope with how you may feel while staying at home.

New mental health services for people affected by social restrictions in Greater Manchester

Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham, and Chair of the Health and Social Care Partnership, Sir Richard Leese have announced a range of digital services and online support have been launched for children and adults across Greater Manchester to minimise the need for people to attend GP surgeries or hospital. These services can be accessed by people who are already experiencing mental health issues as well as people who may be struggling with the new social distancing and self-isolation restrictions.
