Practical use of AI

Colleagues must use Microsoft Copilot if they need access to a Large Language Model like ChatGPT.   

Microsoft Copilot is embedded within our existing system and operates on the same knowledge base as ChatGPT but within a more secure environment.   

Copilot is available to the majority of colleagues via https://copilot.microsoft.com or via the copilot app on myapps.microsoft.com.     

This is an open AI version of the tool, which means colleagues should adhere to the same mandatory guidelines that are applied to other open AI tools like Chat GPT. These are signposted in the further information and guidance below.   

If you need to use other AI tools for work purposes, please inform your line manager.  

Following these guidelines will help us ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data, while giving colleagues the confidence to use AI responsibly.
