Thanks to everyone who donated to Working Well: Support to Succeed’s 'Big Food Drop' last week.

We received an incredible amount of items from our clients, GM residents and our colleagues, to distribute to those who need it the most.

Over 700 items were distributed to 5 foodbanks across Greater Manchester.

Paula from CommUNITY Little Hulton told us:

"It is greatly appreciated, it will supplement our food club for a couple of weeks, as we are experiencing more and more people coming through our doors. Please thank everyone involved and who donated.”

Hope Pantry told explained how the activity has helped them:

"All at the Hope Pantry are so grateful for your fabulous donation. As a charitable trust are always fighting for funding. We are finding that more and more families in need are turning to us for help. Donations like yours help us to help them."

Helen Aspinall, Working Well: Support to Succeed Operations Manager, said:

"With the number of people struggling to access food rising each month, we knew we needed to do more to help our GM communities. That's why the Support to Succeed team organised The Big Food Drop. Through hard work and planning, we were able to deliver hundreds of items to food banks across Greater Manchester. The positive feedback we received showed the real impact we were able to make. I'm incredibly proud that through our efforts, we provided vital assistance and reassurance to so many during challenging times.”
