GC colleagues living in Greater Manchester are being offered free home energy advice, support and upgrades to make their homes warmer and cheaper to run.
The Feel The Benefit campaign is being delivered by Greater Manchester Combined Authority and partners, providing advice to local residents on ways to reduce their energy bills and identify if they qualify for free or discounted upgrades.
There are many benefits to retrofitting your home, including lower energy bills and a warmer, greener home. You can find out more and check your eligibility on this website.
When you access the portal under Background Questions, please make sure you tick the 'Through a Local Energy Advice Demonstrator Partner Organisation' box. Once you’ve ticked the box, there will be a drop-down option, please pick Growth Company.
This project is an initiative funded by the Department for Energy Security & Net Zero and the North-West Net Zero Hub. It looks at:
- How energy saving advice can be made clearer and easier to access
- How it can help GM residents to understand the support and funding available
- How domestic saving measures can be implemented in the GM area
