At GC, we want to normalise the conversations around mental and physical health, and underline the importance of helping colleagues to reach out and talk about their individual needs or concerns - to seek support and treatment.
Sharon Mehta is Teaching and Learning Manager in our Education & Skills team and currently runs a Monthly Wellbeing Clinic, which is open to colleagues to attend from that business unit.
The sessions have been so informative and appreciated by the team that Sharon is now opening them up and extending the invite for any colleague across GC to attend.
Each month's clinic will explore a different theme/topic, and may include suggestions from colleagues and be inspired by books and resources which Sharon has read.
You can now book on to any of these session via PAL - or by clicking on the links below. We'll let you know in GC News once the themes/topics have been confirmed for the sessions from March onwards. The sessions are held on Microsoft Teams:
26th February – 2-3pm – Stress and Resilience
Register by 2pm Monday 24th February
26th March – 2-3pm (Topic TBC)
30th April – 1-2pm (Topic TBC)
13th August – 1-2pm (Topic TBC)
If you have any ideas for future sessions, please reach out to Sharon.Mehta@gceducationandskills.ac.uk.
