Not all great minds think alike. In fact, it's estimated that 1 in 7 people in the UK (nearly 15%), are neurodiverse. Neurodiversity describes the idea that people experience and interact with the world around them in many different ways; there is no one 'right' way of thinking, learning, and behaving.

Our Neurodiversity Champion subgroup has organised a virtual bitesize session on Wednesday 6th December (1-2 pm) to continue to increase awareness of neurodiversity and how you can support others in the workplace. During the session, colleagues will be sharing their lived experience and cover the following key topics:

  • An introduction to neurodiversity
  • The importance of inclusive language and terminology
  • Tips on neuro-inclusive communication
  • Reasonable adjustments
  • Signposting to further resources and support
  • Q&A

The session is open to all colleagues and will be an open, respectful space.

We hope to see you there!
