International Day of Disabled People takes place annually on the 3rd December to promote the rights and wellbeing of disabled people in all parts of society and increase awarenesss of the situation in every aspect of political, social, economic and cultural life.
This short video briefly introduces the Social Model of Disability which is explored further as part of our Disability Inclusion training which we launched earlier this year.
As part of our ongoing commitment to being a Disability Confident Leader, and to promote our inclusive practices, we've developed these workshops for people managers to increase their confidence with enabling conversations particularly around reasonable adjustments in the workplace.
