In 2024 GM Business Growth Hub brought together women and allies from all over Greater Manchester to celebrate International Women’s Day and after an incredible event, they’re doing it again for 2025!
Hosted by Nick Shepherd, Business Development & Partnerships Manager, the event will feature a panel of inspirational speakers who will be tackling 2025’s theme, of 'Accelerate Action' head-on.
Attendees will hear from groundbreaking female leaders who make up the fabric of Greater Manchester, focusing on the themes of culture and business, with two inspirational panel sessions celebrating the importance of personal experiences to shape ongoing change.

GC Employment Activity Hub events
The Activity Hubs teams in GC Employment have International Women’s Day events taking place across many of their Yorkshire Hubs for service users.
Tuesday 4th | Sheffield
Thursday 6th | Doncaster
Friday 7th | Rotherham
Friday 7th | Hull
There will be gift bags for attendees, arts and crafts activities and some baked goodies available. The team will also be asking participants how they will forge a more gender-inclusive world for a project. They are also creating a painting that will be taken across South Yorkshire for participants to contribute to.
