Innovation Navigator is GM Business Growth Hub’s specialist innovation support programme.
The Hub recognise the challenges that forward-thinking businesses face when trying to bring innovative new products and ideas to market.
Innovation Navigator was designed to support ambitious businesses working within AI, data and advanced computing, sustainable advanced materials, diagnostics and genomics.
Their team of Local Innovation Connectors (LIC) and Commercial Specialists (CS) are located within each of the ten Greater Manchester local authorities and can provide specialist strategic guidance and connections to the region’s wider ecosystem.
Bounty Vegah, Marketing Manager for Innovation Navigator told us that there's great demand and support for the programme:
“Since launch, we've seen hyper-local coverage from Greater Manchester local authorities, we are also seeing strong attendance to our events and workshops delivered in partnership with Universities and local authorities”.
Our Commercialisation Specialists actively advance businesses' plans, guiding them and their company, to engage with new key resources and contacts. These consultants offer a wealth of experience in developing, commercialising, and accelerating innovative products and services to market. Here more from Jes Goodwin:
There's real power in local connections, collaboration and community. Innovation and Oldham's rich history of manufacturing were the hot topics as the Hub team visited Oldham Athletic Association Football Club earlier this month.
It was a glorious day for a visit to Boundary Park, where the team were delighted to meet Frank Rothwell and Darren Royle and talk about their Oldham community projects, OAAFC and the Hub's upcoming 'Manufacturing our Future' event at Oldham Athletic Association Football Club. This opportunity was as a result of the amazing teamwork of Kashif Ashraf Oldham President of GM Chamber of Commerce and Karen Fitzpatrick, our local Innovation Connector for Oldham.
