It's great to hear from the people we've supported in their learning and career journeys. Here's a snapshot from some recent colleague observations:
Craig Sandiwell, Skills Development Tutor – Joinery
The learner feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and all learners expressed satisfaction with the course structure, organisation, the tutor and the supportive learning environment.
Some of the feedback received highlighted the engaging nature of the course, the effectiveness of the tutor, and the comfortable learning environment. Specifically, one learner mentioned, "The tutor is very interesting, a good teacher, and makes me feel comfortable working with him. He explains things well, instils confidence, and provides the necessary support."
David Williams, Multi-skills Tutor – Bootcamp
Learner feedback was collected from eight learners, and all was overwhelmingly positive. One learner, currently in week 4, expressed enjoyment, appreciation for the group dynamics, and satisfaction with the level of support. Another learner gave Dave a five-star rating, highlighting his effective teaching of practical skills and allowing learners to take initiative with adequate support. Overall, learners praised the learning environment provided by the organisation, with specific gratitude for the support received from Dave, Julian, and Barry. Learners noted feeling empowered, and some reported securing interviews with different companies.
Quotes from interviewed learners include:
"I'm learning loads and absolutely love it."
"This is a great course, good group, good people, friendly environment."
"Barry, Lee, everyone's been great, and I feel empowered."
Kersha Blake, Skills Development Tutor – FS English L2
The feedback from the learner was extremely positive and complementary. She is really happy with the support that she has received and went on to say “Kersha is very good and has really helped me. I got a bit overwhelmed, and she kept persistent and really helped me to calm down a little. I would have given up if it wasn’t for Kersha”.
