We've expanded GC's Individual Placement Support (IPS) - Drug and Alcohol Service and it's now being delivered across Warrington and Halton.
Through a partnership with Change Grow Live (CGL), it aims to provide comprehensive support services that drive positive change and growth in the Warrington & Halton community, with a focus on employment, well-being, and recovery.
Key Services offered through the partnership
- Employment Support: GC leveraging our expertise in employment services, providing tailored job search support, CV building, interview coaching, and upskilling opportunities. Service Users will have access to training programs, apprenticeships, and connections to local employers, helping them re-enter the workforce or enhance their career prospects.
- Well-being and Recovery Services: Change Grow Live Warrington & Halton will continue to offer essential recovery services, including one-to-one counselling, group support, and harm reduction programs. These services will be integrated with employment support to ensure that clients are not only on the path to sobriety but also equipped with the skills and confidence to lead independent and fulfilling lives.
- Mental Health and Life Skills Programs: Recognising the importance of mental well-being, the collaboration will include mental health support services such as stress management workshops, mindfulness sessions, and strategies for building resilience. Life skills training will also be available to help clients navigate daily challenges and improve their quality of life.
- Community Engagement: The partnership is committed to strengthening community bonds by hosting regular events, workshops, and support groups that bring together clients, local businesses, and community leaders. These activities will promote a culture of support, inclusivity, and long-term sustainability.
