ORIGINAL STORY

Colleagues from Restart and Refugee Employability Programme have been volunteering for The Snowdrop Project. They support survivors of human trafficking across the UK.

Each month, the project funds a renovation project for a client, allowing them to choose paint for their house – which the volunteers then carry out. It's especially important for the clients as it gives them a sense of control over their lives – which they may not have had previously, and transforms their house into a cosy home that is a safe space.

Billie Kemp, Partnership & Integration Manager – Yorkshire & Humber, told us that our colleagues are really proud of this work and will continue to support the organisation in the future through Volunteer2Day.
