Last month, the Education & Skills trainers had a really great Continuous Professional Development day (CPD), where colleagues brought in an item for Stretford foodbank as part of the team's ongoing fundraising activities for charity.
Lisa Jones-Hill, Sector Director – Professional Services & Technical-Education & Skills, told us more about the activity:
"On 29th May, we brought together over 80 Education & Skills trainers for a CPD day. We agreed that at each CPD event, we'd have a chosen charity that we'd support.
"On this occasion it was agreed to support Stretford Foodbank - this charity is one of the Skills Centre's ongoing support charities.
"Each attendee was asked to bring an item to add to the table for the Food Bank. As you can see from the photo, a huge amount of items were brought in. These were then boxed up and delivered to them.
"Great team work for a well deserved Charity."
