Earlier this year we advised colleagues they would receive 3 additional days of leave between Christmas and New Years.
As a thanks and recognition to colleagues' hard work, we want to remind colleagues that once again we will be giving colleagues the business closure period in between Christmas and New Year as paid leave. This will allow colleagues to have their three (or pro-rata equivalent) days annual leave back to use at a time of their choosing subject to the normal approval process.
The three days additional leave dates are 27th, 30th and 31st December.
There may be some colleagues who need to work over the festive period but local arrangements should be made to take this time off on alternative dates subject to line management approval. You do not need to do anything unless you have already booked this in the annual leave system which if you have, you can cancel this leave.
