We went through the GC Business Plan for 2024/25 at a high level – here’s a link the full document.
We'd love to hear your feedback on how you found the session - please let us have your thoughts in this short survey.
Follow-up to the questions we unfortunately didn't get time to answer will be shared in the coming days on this page (TBC).
Below you can find the detail that Mark communicated during the webinar in relation to this year’s pay award, as well as the leave arrangements during the business closure in December:
- 3% pay award: The pay award will be paid to eligible colleagues in the May payroll, backdated to 1 April 2024. Our pay bands will also be changed to reflect this increase. You can find the eligibility criteria here.
- Additional days annual leave: As a thanks and recognition to colleagues' hard work, we will again be giving colleagues the business closure period in between Christmas and New Year as paid leave. This will allow colleagues to have their three (or pro-rata equivalent) days annual leave back to use at a time of their choosing subject to the normal approval process. For your information, the business will be closed on Wednesday 25th December through to Wednesday 1st January inclusive, reopening on Thursday 2nd January. There may be some colleagues who need to work over this period, but local arrangements should be made to take this time off on alternative dates subject to line management approval. You do not need to do anything unless you have already booked this in the annual leave system which if you have, you can cancel this leave.
If you have any further queries on these, please contact the HR Service Desk.
