Booking a Team Meeting Space

We recently announced that we would be providing you with the option of using designated meeting spaces in recognition of the fact that a number of you will be eager for some face-to-face interaction with your team.  Unfortunately, due to the introduction of local restrictions across Greater Manchester, we made the decision to postpone this opportunity. Whilst these local restrictions remain in place, the 7 day rate of positive cases per 100,000 population across Greater Manchester has remained stable and in some areas is improving, therefore, we have reviewed this decision and will be opening up the opportunity to meet as teams from Monday 7th September, if you would like to do so.

Colleagues will be able to hold team meetings in our sites which remain open. For Churchgate and Lee House this will be limited to the areas below and the smaller meeting rooms will not be available to book.

Meetings can be booked in the usual way via Talos our room booking system. Each team meeting will require an organiser to ensure that guidelines are adhered to. The organiser will be responsible for ensuring that each meeting participant completes and shares a pre-meeting checklist with the organiser, prior to the meeting.

Within Churchgate and Lee House we are proposing to make the following 2 areas available for larger team meetings:

  • The Sunshine Suite for a maximum number of 12 team members to use
  • The first-floor kitchen and meeting area for a maximum number of 14 team members to use (available for use until 30th September inclusive)

You can book a two-hour slot via Talos (either AM or PM, with a maximum of 2 meetings taking place in these 2 areas each day), please do not book slots for longer than two hours and ensure that there is at least an hour’s gap between the AM and PM meeting.

The facilities team will be on hand for any support and all areas will be cleaned before and after each session. Before you enter buildings, you must have your temperature tested at reception.

If you are coming into the office for a team meeting please ensure that you only use the building for this purpose.  You should not occupy the wider accommodation space in the building pre, or post meeting and you should not access any other areas of the office including going to your locker, if you have one.  If you would like to collect your belongings from your locker, you can do so by booking a time slot to come into the office. Before going to your locker please get your temperature checked at reception and once you've cleared your locker out you should leave your key with reception.

All sites that have reopened are covered by our GC Risk Assessment and are Covid-19 safe, however it is important that before returning to the office you read our employee guidance first. Please also see this short video to show you the safety measures we have put in place across our sites.
