Here for Business is Greater Manchester's recognised business resilience campaign, providing reassurance and targeted support for businesses in need.
It was first developed to support businesses through the European Union (EU) exit and the rolling impacts of Covid-19. It's more recently been used to provide support around the costs of doing business.
Our GM Business Growth Hub's latest iteration of the campaign has been developed to support businesses with their key concerns and specific pain points such as costs, sales, financial and business planning.
As part of the campaign, they've announced a series of webinars and events running from January to March, aimed at giving Greater Manchester businesses the best start to 2025.
Together with the Hub's trusted partners, they'll provide much-needed support on what matters right now through webinars covering topics like futureproofing businesses, adapting to changes, and understanding finances. Let's continue to empower local businesses to build stronger, more resilient operations.
About the campaign, Jo Li, Head of Marketing - BGH told us:
‘'Our 'Here for Business' campaign builds on the legacy of our previous programmes, reinforcing our commitment to being a steadfast partner for businesses in Greater Manchester. In 2025, we dive deep into the pivotal areas to offer insights and support that are not just forward-thinking, but actionable. We are determined to help businesses with their key concerns and specific pain points.’"
The first fully-funded webinar event, 'Business Resilience: How can we help you in 2025?', took place on Monday 20th January and was attended by local businesses.
