EmployGM is a new platform to help people find local jobs, search for courses, and find localised support across Greater Manchester. The project is a Mayoral commitment, aiming to help residents navigate the opportunities available to them and attract more talent to the city-region.
GC are delivering and managing the site on behalf of Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA). EmployGM will demystify the employment process with straightforward and easy-to-use features.
We soft-launched EmployGM last November and it's already allowing people to find real time vacancies across the region. We've now made some tweaks and builds and we're celebrating the official launch with a media campaign across GM.
Celebrating the launch Naomi Ilagoswa, Director of Strategic Partnerships & External Projects passed on her thanks to our IT team for evolving and revamping the platform ready for its official launch:
"A huge thanks to our IT Development Team who have worked tirelessly over the last few months to refresh EmployGM and create a virtual front door for Employment and Skills Advice in Greater Manchester. The site includes a job search as well as a custom-built course search allowing GM residents to find local learning options."
